"Leadership and Community building Scholarship"

Trent Host - Senior Great Oak HS

CONGRATULATIONS!!

Class Act Tuxedo is delighted to announce that this year's (2017) recipient for the "Leadership and Community Building" Scholarship is Trent Host - a senior at Great Oak High School. Trent is being recognized for his outstanding achievements and contributions to his communities (school and non-profit organizations).

Trent maintains a GPA of 3.7, is a member of the football and baseball team, the CSF (California Scholastic Federation), and the Red Wave Club. In addition to being active in school, Trent has made an effort to give back to the community.

Trent has accumulated over 100 volunteer hours at various organizations in Temecula and Murrieta, and is currently volunteering at the local Habitat for Humanity Restore. Here he has learned about the process of donations from the community becoming items for profit (a way to raise money) to assist in the organizations mission to eliminate poverty and provide housing to families in need. Trent is also mindful of the elderly in his community and is always seeking out ways to be of assistance.

When asked “who inspires and motivates you?” Trent is Inspired by his father who has taught him life lessons and that “hard work and education is key to having a better future.”  This fall, Trent will attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to major in business with an emphasis in Accounting.  His future career goal is to work with a Government Intelligence Agency.

This scholarship is privately funded and is in partnership with Class Act Tuxedo - Temecula. Award is in the amount of $500.00. Thank you Trent for serving your communities and making a difference in the lives of others. You deserve this honor!
