Leadership and Community Building Scholarship:

This scholarship focuses on individuals that are actively working as volunteers to make a difference in their community.  These individuals are initiating change with the support of others within their communities (parents, teachers, coaches, mentors, pastors). Excellence in Music Scholarship:

The  “Excellence in Band"  is for the individual (student or teacher) that has demonstrated a commitment and achievement in music. The award for this accomplishment is $300.00.  For additional information and  application please

Kaia Cheyenne Robinson - Senior  Temescal Canyon HS

CONGRATULATIONS!!

Class Act Tuxedo is delighted to announce that this year's (2019) recipient for the "Leadership and Community Building" Scholarship is Kaia Cheyenne Robinson - a senior at Temescal Canyon HS. Kaia is being recognized for her outstanding achievements and contributions. 

Kaia mainatains a GPA of 3.0,  volunteers  at the Friends of the Valley animal shelter, and is a Fire Explorer at Fire Station 297 in Lake Elsinore. Her community involvement has motivated her to pursue a career in firefighting and emergency medical response.  In the fall, Kaia will attend Palomar Community College with a major in Emergency Medical Technician and Fire Academy. Kaia’s mentors (Battalion Chief Vernon C., and LACFD Chief Deputy Dawanna L.) have inspired her to stay positive and focused in achieving her goals in a predominantly male profession.  

This scholarship is privately funded and is in partnership with Class Act Tuxedo - Temecula. Award is in the amount of $300.00. Thank you Kaia for serving your communities and making a difference in the lives of others. You deserve this honor!

Spring 2017 Recipient 

"Leadership and Community Building Scholarship"


Trent Host - Senior  Great Oak HS

CONGRATULATIONS!!

Class Act Tuxedo is delighted to announce that this year's (2017) recipient for the "Leadership and Community Building" Scholarship is Trent Host - a senior at Great Oak High School. Trent is being recognized for his outstanding achievements and contributions to his communities (school and non-profit organizations). 

Trent maintains a GPA of 3.7, is a member of the football and baseball team, the CSF (California Scholastic Federation), and the Red Wave Club. In addition to being active in school, Trent has made an effort to give back to the community.

Trent has accumulated over 100 volunteer hours at various organizations in Temecula and Murrieta, and is currently volunteering at the local Habitat for Humanity Restore. Here he has learned about the process of donations from the community becoming items for profit (a way to raise money) to assist in the organizations mission to eliminate poverty and provide housing to families in need. Trent is also mindful of the elderly in his community and is always seeking out ways to be of assistance.

When asked “who inspires and motivates you?” Trent is Inspired by his father who has taught him life lessons and that “hard work and education is key to having a better future.”  This fall, Trent will attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to major in business with an emphasis in Accounting.  His future career goal is to work with a Government Intelligence Agency.

Emily Strickfaden - Senior Fall Brook HS

Class Act Tuxedo is delighted to announce that this year's (2014) recipient for the "Leadership and Community Building" Scholarship is Emily Strickfaden - a senior at Fall Brook High School. Emily is being recognized for her outstanding achievements and contributions to her communities (school and church). See earlier post on March 12. Emily maintains a 4.06 G.P.A, and plans on attending Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in the fall as a communications major. The “Leadership and Community Building” Scholarship Program focuses on individuals that are actively working as volunteers to make a difference in their community. These “leaders” of all ages are initiating change with the support of others.

Class Act Tuxedo is delighted to announce that this year's recipient for the "Excellence in Music"  Scholarship is Natalie Davidson, senior at Monroe Woodbury HS Tuxedo, NY.  Natalie is being recognized for her dedication to music (cello section leader in the school's chamber orchestra), academics (participates in a curricular science research program sponsored by the Univ. of SUNY Albany), and community (VP of the high school's student-run service club,  works with several non-profit organizations, an advocate  for her peers health,  and is a tutor  for middle school/high school students through the National and French Honor Societies). This fall Natalie will begin university studies as a double major in music and neuroscience. This scholarship is privately funded and is in partnership with Class Act Tuxedo - Temecula.  Award is in the amount of $300.00.
